CLAs for minors

Hi,

some weeks ago I asked what minors should do with their CLA.
Should the
parents sign it? Or is it not possible for minors to help
translating
the manual? Unfortunately, I cannot remember that I got a
concrete
answer to that question.

So what is the status about this issue?

Hi Ralf,

I think this is a good question, and I'll take a stab at
answering it. I
think that both the minor child and a parent or guardian
should sign the
CLA, but mine is not the official word on the subject.

I've copied Andi and Bill just in case they can clarify this
issue for us.

Good question. I agree with Darby's assessment that having
both the
child and the legal guardian sign is the best solution.
