Do you know why you are having diarrhea again? Try to fix that if you are able. If you are not able and will continue to have diarrhea, I would try to coat the anal openng with vaseline or Desitin ointment to help prevent irritation before bms. use a gloved finger or whatever works for you. Meanwhile try to figure out what is causing the diarrhea. A lot of times after bowel surgery the patient will have diarrhea for a while, I'm not sure why but I do remember taking care of patients that complained about having diarrhea for several months postop. I have a question to anyone that has a suggestion. I've had 2 fissures in the last 1 1/2 and both of them after a major surgery that I had months of Diarrhea after the surgery's. I Had a Colonoscopy/Biospy in June and after healing up from the Biospy surgery I noticed that I no longer had the Fissure Pain????? any way long story short. I have been having the Diarrhea again and I'm getting some soreness down there and don't want it to turn into another Fissure I don't if I could deal with that kind of pain again..
Any suggestions ???

Diagnosis 5/14/97 Surgery 6/7/97 could not remove all the tumor, residual tumor wrapped around blood vessels and the abdominal Aorta. Meet on Lister, Megs & Trish told me about Sando, Next Visit to Dr. Woltering, Started Sando 1500ML 3 shots a day SubQ, In 2001 went on Medtronix 407 infusion pump 2000ML a day.
UPDATE:Surgery 3/8/06 Removed by peal process 85% of large messentary tumor & 15 small tumors and 2 larger ones in liver in an 8 hour surgery.
UPDATE: 2/5/07 Massive Growth in Messentary & Liver double the size from 3/8/06 don't know if surgery is possible. 16 Hour Surgery 3/8/07 Successful. Many Thanks to my
