No. In fact from what I"ve learned over the last two years, you want to try to avoid the diarrhea, as it place more pressure on your inner muscle. This compounds the fissure problem, as I understand it, due to the involuntary muscle contracting thus pulling more on the fissure area. I've found that epsom salt baths to be somewhat helpful.

Is diarrhea common with anal fissures? I have been having more diarrhea
lately. It's like I get constipated for so long it finally has to come out
somehow. Does anyone else have this?

Disclaimer - I am not a doctor!
I have a feeling your increasing fruit (one to two pieces is not even
the minimum rec, not even close to excessive!) is entirely
coincidental with your 'roids. I'd talk to your doctor about the
cortisone cream, because they generally don't like you to use it long
term.

I feel your frustration - I hope you find somethign that works!
