Thins the skin and can cause tears and retears as far as fissures go. If you are going to use itshort term for hemmerhoids, then just get the max strength one over the counter, prob 1% or something?

My problem is an external hemmorhoid and major itching and some
burning from itching too hard.... anyway my dr prescribed some strong
hydrocortizone cream, I forget the name, starts with an A, anyway
there was no generic so the pharmacy said it'd be $55, I'm NOT paying
$55 for hydrocortizone! Someone else mentioned that this really helped
them, and I was just to use it for 5 days only... also though I
thought hydrocortizone wasn't good to use on the genital area-- or is
it just not ok longer term use??
