Hello everyone



I haven't written for awhile, I took all the wonderful advice that 

people in this group gave and Thank God for this group, I've been 

managing  the horrible fissure pain. ; Today ; the hospital rang said 

they will do the fissurectomy on the 26th January, I go for the pre-

assessment this Friday. I've been waiting a year on the NHS for this 

operation.  Now the time is nearly here, I'm absolutely terrified of 

how I'll cope with the post operation pain. I just want to ask all 

those here who have had surgery…Was it worth it? Or was the surgery 

something you now regret.  How did people cope with the pain afterwards.
