SMC has to be a registered object, to check, delete back to the period and check intellisense.
If it doesn't list dsGetUserByPhoneyou need to add a reference, if it does list it, choose it again and save, it'll hook up things with the dataset; at times working with old .net app's I"ve noticed this can be necessary with datasets or tableadapters to get rid of weird errors like this.

I have a project that someone just dumped on me and I'm trying to get a handle on it. Using VS2003.
When i try to build it, it give me multiple version of this error type:
Protected WithEvents dsGetUserByPhone As SMC.dsGetUserByPhone dsGetUserByPhone is one example. There are a bunch of errors which look just like except its SMC.XYZ etc etc
From what i have been able to gather, this means there's something else somewhere that's also named dsGetUserByPhone which is causing confusion. There are a bunch of .xsd files which are named the same - i assumed those were the only place where that class is declared. I couldn't find it anywhere else.
Anyone have any suggestions as to how i can go about tracking down and fixing this problem?
thanks
