What is the best data type to use in SQL 2005 for a field
that is going to hold a monetary value? I’m putting together a shopping
cart for logo wear, and each time someone orders a shirt it will deduct the
cost from this amount stored in this table. Once it hits zero they will need
to begin to pay for their stuff. I just want an easy way to do calculations
and have it come out two decimal places each time. I know before I’ve
used “float” but then I have to jimmy jammy the number of places
the decimal goes out to. Should I use the “money” data type?
