I had a similar problem with Graffiti - it needed to be in its own APP pool? You could check that for a start.

I am starting to do web sites in dot net nuke ( ASP.NET 2.0) - so I'm new to it. It is fast to develop a site in dnn, but it is sooo slow to load.
I opened a site created in classic asp and it took about 1 second to load (a commerse site, mind you, with a database)
My dnn site with online store took over 20 seconds to load -- and that's hardly anything that I wrote, mostly just modules you plug in.
What's the problem? Is it because it's the content management system that has so much code? Or is it somthing with the server?
It's a fast way to create a web site with little or no programming, but man is it slow to load up! --- List Settings --- http://aspadvice.com/lists/
