AT Program Decisions & AT Staff Input

That is a very common situation from what I have observed. While I can't offer a solution, I would like to offer a warning. I have seen the accreditation process drive a wedge between academics and athletics at several institutions. I feel very strongly that the two need to be working together in order for the student to accurately see/experience what it is like to be an athletic trainer. The program director should have the final say on what happens with the program, but since most PD's are fully academic now, I feel keeping the athletic staff in the loop is vital to keep the program "grounded".
