Allowing anonymous users to submit tickets on trac?

As you know, common-lisp.net has made Trac available for
bug-tracking
(among other things).  Currently, to submit a bug report,
you have to
have an account to login to create it.  

This puts a fairly high barrier for bug reporting.  The
reason for
this was that just after Trac was made available, there was
a lot of
spam in the ticket system.

However, it is possible to allow anyone to submit reports,
as before.
What do users want?  I certainly would like anyone to be
able to
submit reports without having to get an account, but I also
don't want
to deal with spam.  Currently, the spam is (manually) marked
as an
invalid ticket so unless you go out of your way, you won't
see it.

What do you like to have?
