I don't see where the article says neverending war. The cold
war was a lock
between countries where neither were actually attacking and
killing each
other. I'd prefer that to the continuous bombings going on.
And before
anyone jumps on me and says that not everything is about
Israel, I'm talking
about bombings and attacks outside of Israel.
The problem is that the cold war was between countries while
the current war
is between cultures. One culture is a extremist religious
culture that wants
to take over the world and has no problem killing innocents
and cutting off
heads. How do you defeat that? Defending against it is
easier.
