I'm really not happy with McCain, he originally came across
as the guy who
would buck the trend and be a true moderate, I was truly
expecting him to
run as and win as an independent, with independent values.
I expected him to be the guy who would tell the extreme
right and left and
the PAC's to go straight to hell.
I was expecting him to be the guy that Obama claims to be(I
say "claims"
because I naturally distrust ALL politicians) the guy who
would bring the
people and the country together... the real majority, the
moderates, the
folks who have been disenfranchised by both sides, the ones
who are more
concerned with taking care of there own, the government
minding it's own
business and staying out of people's personal lives,
balanced budgets and
protecting the United States, with sense and realizing that
war is the
absolute last resort, and not with meaningless talking
points, and hollow
non-issues that in the grand scheme of things don't mean
anything.
Then he got the republican nod... and for once I agree with
them, he changes
sides, and stances on issues like most folks change their
underwear.
And, that is why I won't vote for McCain... The Libertarians
are starting to
look really good.
