Sam.  I know have a tendency to link all of your hopes,
dreams, and
personality to another; be it Rush, or W,  Newt, or
whomever.

What you should understand is that there are people who
stand on their
own intellectual 2 feet; people who can pick and choose
among the best
ideas, including their own, and combine them into a
philosophy,
methodology, thought model, or framework.

I am such a person, Obama is such a person.

As such, we can listen to Mr. Gingrich and love what he has
to say
about healthcare or taxes or foreign policy.  We can even
adopt and/or
adapt those ideas to use as our own.  In the same regard we
can reject
other ideas, even from the same person, such as I reject
Mr.
Gingrich's idea above.

Many people refer to this as independent thinking.

You should try it.
