I have a 478-pin 2.8G CPU on a 533MHz FSB on auto detect. A
missmatch?
The CPU multiplier runs at x21 forthe board to run in synch.
My DDR400
runs at 266
I find no other pins to configure such that I can up the DDR
DRAM to
par at 400
the FSB to 400, not 133 (as displayed by Everest Ultimate
Free
Benchmarking Tool)
then have the multiplier run at 7x.
I have browsed the board maker's web site, the only
available
option/update is the BIOS'
Which do not give me a preview if the effort will offer the
solution or
its just a waste of time.
My Board is ASUS P4Ge-MX with HT Support. There is no CMOS
resettable
speed option except the 133 - 164 MHz bus setting.
I suspect the CPU itself pose the obstacle by setting such
low
parameters at its gates/pins.
Thanks for any info.
