Does anyone know why I occassionally on powering up receive
the
following Blue Screen error:

Bought system 10/2006
Occurs infrequently (once every 3 days)
Support told me to reload XP Media Center, which I loaded. I
received
the system with Dell version of Microsoft loaded. Dell told
me to
reload from CD I had. Did that and updated the Operating
System. The
next day the problem appeared again.

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL is the oldest bug in the book
(the big
fat Microsoft bug book)... And it's 99% a problem with one
of your
drivers. Microsoft has a hot fix for a similar issue with
this system
file. Check out http://support
.microsoft.com/kb/890927 for more info.

If it doesn't work, go to C: and look for debuglog.txt. Open
it and
post what's inside. If you can't find it, go to Start>Run
and eventvwr
and under the System label look for any error messages. If
you find
anything relevant, post it here. Also, if there are too many
events and
you can't find anything recent, just right click on System
and clear
all events. Then, next time you get the error it will be
there.

Also, please post more information on the specifications and
some
software you installed before you started getting the
problem.
