I have both and highly recommend the rotating carrier--though not for the obvious (it rotates) reason

The rotating carrier comes with a set of masks for all different kinds of film. The other is, I think, really for 120 strip film. I've found it difficult to use and had inconsistent results

I will say you are absolutely right to get a glass carrier. I see posts of people complaining they're not getting edge to edge sharpness. Well------your negative isn't flat---duhhhhh

Hi all,
Awaiting my new purchase of a Nikon 9000 to be delivered. I have not
purchased a glass carrier as yet. What options do I have in this
regard?

Is the Nikon carrier the way to go (not the rotating version) or are
there better 3rd party options?

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks.

Barry

So does everyone agree that the rotating holder is better than the
869G Strip Film Holder for panoramics (Xpan shots)?
