I've been doing wet-mount scans with a Super Coolscan 9000 ED and Tri-X
35mm B&W negs and have been astounded by the minimal amount of cleanup
that I have to do as well as with the overall sharpness. These are some
of the finest scans I have ever made. I have not used the scanner for
color neg or transparency film so I can't make a comparison in that regard.
