Do I understand this right: The build also does hang
sometimes when it
runs outside of Cruisecontrol?

Sorry, I was thinking about Linux Anyway: On
Windows you can also
have all processes listed in the task manager. Sometimes the
status is
"No repsonse". I don't know if that applies to the
hanging CC build,
since it is a Java thread. For this it's probably more
fruitful to
explore the CC JVM via jconsole. However, if a process
startet by CC,
but outside of it causes it to hang, this process will
appear and remain
in the process list at the same time. There might be other
tools to
explore processes on Windows I'm not aware of.
