Dates View?

How to make the dates view sort according to date? 
Currently if select a
month/year all photos from all albums from that date range
will be displayed. 
Photos are then sorted by album then date.  I am hoping that
I can display
photos by date range only and by not the album information..
 Is this possible?

If yes, vote for it .
Otherwise you might want
to add information there, or add a new wish
(Adding new wishes via the bug tracker is a bit pain-ful,
IMO,
but that is the preferred way so that good ideas don't get
lost).

And, yes I also would like to have that functionality...
((The bug tracker has quite a few great wishes, but it
is always a question of time to implement all these - I am
sure that more people contributing patches would be welcome
... )

yes that describes my wish.  I have Voted..Thanks for
pointing that out.

I am unable to submit code but will provide feedback where I
can.  I am a recent 
convert from XP and PhotoShop album and think this would
help digikam 
compete well.

I think that feedback and suggestions from users,
experienced
with other software, is very valuable; in addition
to missing features all input related to the overall
workflow
is useful!
