JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Job Title: Senior Hardware Engineer
Nature of work:
-Component selection, including investigating performance, power
consumption, availability, and pricing
-Oversight of layout, prototyping, and initial board bring-up
-Full support of the hardware design through full production release
-Will be focused on development of Complex Hardware for Ophthalmic
products
-Will be responsible for design, implementation, design review, and
low level testing
and debugging of high speed Digital/32bit MCU, FPGA, and Analog
circuits
-Should be familiar with Schematic Capture, Timing Analysis, Digital
Synthesis and Design Verification, programming in 'C'.
-Should be familiar with Memory Design, Peripheral Interfacing such
as SPI, I2C, UART, DMA, PCI, Ethernet
-Should be flexible for other Hardware-related works in the future
Programming Language: VHDL, Verilog HDL, 'C'
Operating System: Microsoft Windows, Linux
Tools: FPGA IDE, Mixed-signal Oscilloscope(DSO & Logic Analyser),
OrCAD, Soldering Station, Keil

Work at: Chennai(Should also be willing to work at Client's office
in Pondicherry depending upon the project requirements)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Mandatory Skills:
-Working experience of VHDL/Verilog HDL Code development for
Altera/Xilinx, ARM7/9,
CCD, ADC/DAC, Sensor, Stepper Motor, Keypad, CRT, and Thermal
Printer
-Board-level design including a proven track record of defining and
implementing sophisticated analog and digital designs
-Knowledge of Optics and Digital Signal/Image Processing
-Track record of selecting and designing with high-speed embedded
processors (ARM, PowerPC, etc.)
-Schematic capture (i.e Orcad)
-Hardware design, development and testing of high speed 32 bit MCU
based systems,
-Debugging using JTAG Emulators
-C programming, use of Boot Loaders, writing diagnostic programs
-Use of DSO, Logic Analysers, and Device Programmers
-Familiarity with ARM based designs
Desired Skills:
-Design & development of electronic medical equipments
-Knowledge of certification process to meet medical standards
-Ability to write and debug 'C' code, including the use of SW
development tools (compilers, in-circuit emulators, etc.)
-Digital circuit simulation and signal integrity experience
(ModelSim, PSpice)
-RTOS-based embedded software development experience
-DSP-based hardware and software development experience
Experience: Minimum of 3 years
Qualification: Bachelor / Master degree in (Electronics &
Communication
/ Biomedical Engineering / Electronics &
Instrumentation
/ Electrical & Electronics )
Self-motivated, flexible, effective team member. Good communication
skills(oral & written)
