I haven't yet succeeded in downloading a Google Scholar
reference to
Endnote, but am keen to work it out.
I use Safari (Mac OS 10.4) and Endnote 7. I've set and
saved the Google
Scholar preferences as suggested at John East's helpful
site
[http://www.library.uq.edu.au/faqs/endnote/f
ilters.html#google_scholar]
but the reference downloads to my desktop as a file called
'scholar.enl'
and I'm unable to open it in Endnote. I'm not offered a
dialogue box for
choosing a library.
I have the same experience when trying it in Internet
Explorer.
Any clues on what I might be missing?
Many thanks,
Ross Langmead
