All:
I can't get downloading from Google Scholar to EndNote
(either 9 or X)
to work. First, the reference type selected is Ancient Text,
the first
alphabetically in the reference types available in EndNote
X; EndNote 9
seems to select Journal Article okay. But in both versions
of EndNote,
lots of data is missing, including the journal title and
most of the
other fields.
Since we have no control over the filter that is used to
download
citations from Google Scholar into EndNote, we're at
Google's mercy.
I've sent a complaint. What can we do? Is anyone else
having the
problems I've encountered?
Until and unless these problems can be resolved, I won't
add any mention
of Google Scholar on any of the EndNote-related web pages
here at UC
Davis.
