Regarding the multiple comma problem with the APA5th Output
style:

We went directly to Version 9.0.1 provided on CD by EndNote
and it did
not contain the corrected style. There are obviously
different versions
of this version. 

The "correct" version of APA5th still has the
problem where "et al" is
appended to in-text citations for the second reference to an
item with 6
or more authors instead of three (Publication Manual APA 5th
Ed, p.
208). This has been wrong since Version 7. 

I personally can't see the point of having more than 1000
styles when
the ones used by most people always have bugs.

I have EndNote

I thought that this problem was fixed by the EndNote 9.0.1
patch for
Windows.
