It looks like a little circle- that is link adjacent text.
The line is
forced separation. You can get those from the insert
field button
-which includes other punctuation marks, including tabs, end
paragraphs
and singular/plural.

Subject: Question Re: Symbol in output style creation
Hello All,
There is a specific symbol being utilized in the creation of
output
styles and I am wondering if any of you know how to
reproduce without
simply copying and pasting it.
If you go to Edit - Output Styles and select a style such as
'Cell
Research' - on the left hand menu, select Bibliography and
then
Templates, do you see the symbol before the field Volume
(under the
Journal Article reference type) or before the Issue field? I
am trying
to find out what symbol that is - it is definitely not a
spacebar that
can produce this type of marking.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Again, at the moment
I am simply
copying and pasting the symbol when generating a new output
style.
Regards,
