Biblio Reference without a Citation

The solution Leanne provided worked for me.

I insert the citation I want in the biblio but not in the
text in the normal
way, then I edit it. 

Edit by right clicking and selecting edit citation or by
going to the Tools
-> End Notes -> Edit Citation(s) option.

Check the author and date boxes so nothing is left.

Endnote keeps the item in the biblio but not in the text.

Hi,

I ran into the same problem and haven't found a solution
yet. I'm using MLA
style and when there are ambiguous citations I use the short
title and in
such a case the parenthetical reference cannot be
suppressed.

How can I get an entry in the bibliography when all the
information is
already mentioned the text flow and there is no
parenthetical reference
needed or wanted? Currently I manually remove the unwanted
references after
de-Endnotification, a rather toilsome process.
