So, does this mean that there are actually disks in stock?
If so, when will the volume license folks be getting their
disks?

--Popular Bibliographic Software Expands PDF Management,
Simplifies Reference Handling and Includes New Customized
Toolbars for Researchers Worldwide--

Carlsbad, CA, USA - August 25, 2006 - Today, Thomson
ResearchSoft (www.researchsoft.com), a business of The
Thomson Corporation, announced the immediate availability of
EndNote(R) X for Mac(R) OS X, the bibliographic management
software used by millions of researchers, librarians and
students. EndNote is the industry standard for creating easy
bibliographies and managing references. EndNote X, designed
for Intel(R) Core(TM), provides expanded PDF management,
increased flexibility in viewing, searching and handling
reference information, as well as new Mac-specific features.

"I really like EndNote X. There are several new
features in version X that make my life easier. Dragging and
dropping a PDF file onto an EndNote record allows me to
integrate PDFs into my EndNote library smoothly. These new
EndNote X features are huge time savers for me."-
Corentin Cras-Méneur, Ph.D.

"EndNote X combines new PDF management and other
features with the power of the Mac Intel Core to provide Mac
users with integrated solutions for research and
publishing," said David L. Kochalko, president,
Thomson ResearchSoft. "EndNote X gives Mac users more
options in how they view and interact with their reference
collections, supporting individual work styles."

--Expanded PDF Management--
EndNote X introduces a new way to manage PDFs. Simply drag
and drop a PDF file onto an EndNote record. EndNote stores
the file with the EndNote references, and creates a link
automatically. Existing PDF links in an EndNote library can
be converted to the new PDF management system in one step.
And the new compressed library option creates a single-file
backup for easy transport of an EndNote library between
computers. These features save time, and make it easy to
share an EndNote library, including the linked PDFs, with
colleagues.

--New Custom Toolbars and Increased Flexibility in Handling
Reference Information-- EndNote X for Mac allows users to
customize toolbars for working with libraries and
references. EndNote X also provides users with more
flexibility in how they work with their references. Up to
eight fields are visible in the reference list display, and
users can click-sort column heads to locate records quickly.
PDF links are identified easily with a new PDF icon. The
reference edit window now includes a new option to
"show and hide empty fields" to reduce scrolling
through reference detail. And in response to user requests,
new reference types are available-Grant, Ancient Text,
Dictionary and Encyclopedia.

--New Ways to Search and Connect--
Now users can search EndNote libraries using the new
"begins with" or "ends with" options
for fields and words. EndNote X search results in Mac OS X
Tiger Spotlight searches now include descriptive details
making individual references more identifiable. And EndNote
X offers many more ways to connect EndNote with
bibliographic databases and publishing styles-800+
connections to online sources, 540+ import filters and over
2,300 journal styles!

--Pricing and Availability--
EndNote X is designed for Mac OS X and Windows 2000 and XP.
The list price of EndNote X is $299.95 USD. Students in
North America can purchase EndNote X for $109.95 USD with a
valid student I.D. For a list of international distributors,
go to www.endnote.com. Special upgrade prices are available
to owners of previous versions. EndNote X is now available
from Thomson ResearchSoft, college and university
bookstores, and authorized resellers worldwide.
