Move the library anywhere you want. It probably isn't a good
idea to
keep in the program folder, better in My documents or
something like
that. Then you can open it - by double clicking on the file
and change
your preferences (edit preferences) and "add
library". Now that library
will open from its new home, anytime you start endnote.

I recently upgraded to end note 9 - and have realized that
the converted
library still in the ENDNOTE 6 folder According to the
install
instructions I did not remove End note 6 before upgrading.
If I move the library to the End note 9 programme folder -
will the
programme find the link? If not what should I do?
