Is your customer able to use Firefox as a browser? In
response to a downloading
file, Firefox gives you the option to "Open
With" instead of just "Open." A default
program shows based on registered file types, but you can
select a different application
instead of the default. So FrontPage would probably come up
as the default, but the
user should be able to select EndNote as the application to
use.

I can't test this to know for sure whether it would work
since I don't have FrontPage
installed and we don't subscribe to that database, but it
would be worth a shot.

I had a customer request today about using direct export
from Academic
Search Premier to EndNote 9.0.1

When the customer used direct export, there was a prompt on
the screen
that included Open as an option (so I'm assuming it said
Save or Open)
and when she used Open, FrontPage was started and the file
was displayed
in FrontPage.

While briefly researching the subject, I noticed references
to Academic
Search Premier by it's initials ASP and it seemed like
FrontPage might
be opening if the file was called something.asp (because asp
is a file
extention for an scripting language used in web pages).

Does anyone have recommendations?

Have a nice day
