I have graduated to Endnote X from the earlier version. I
find a few
differences (as of now) that I cannot understand. One that
is troubling
me just now is:
Entries into the fields - Author, Journal, Keyword - appear
in red.
Unlike earlier, if any of the words being typed is already
in the
database, e.g. a pre-existing keyword, it does not
automatically
complete itself, as it used to earlier. One has to type the
entire word
again. This could result in misspelled words and is a waste
of time. Why
is this happening and is there a way to revert to the
earlier system?
Would be grateful to receive guidance.
