1003 is the Author search attribute. It is not a record tag.
Records are often tagged using some form of MARC coding, in
which 100 or
700 are the normal Author tags. However other types of
tagging are
possible, e.g. SUTRS uses alphabetic tags such as Author or
AU.
While you are connected to the database, you can view tagged
records by
clicking on Window>Show Connection Status and using the
drop-down menu
to select Record Data. You can view all records in tagged
format by
retrieving the Connect Log from your hard drive. The EndNote
manual will
give you more information on this.
