Here is how I create a URL link when I import PubMed medline
formatted
records into Endnote.
Once you have imported your records from PubMed:
1. Click References > Change Fields
2. Change In: to Accession Number ( You may want to confirm
that the
PMID numbers imported into the Accession Number field.) 3.
Mark "Insert
before field's text"
4. Deselect "Include a space after the new text"
5. Change Text to: [paste the URL below].

ez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=pubmed&dop
t=Abstract&list_uids= [make sure your cursor
immediately follows the
end of the URL, that there are no spaces after it.] 6.
Click Change,
Click OK > OK 7. Open a record to check that the URL is
active

Subject: Re: How to show the URL (link) of each reference?
Medline format in PubMed does not include the URL, therefore
you can't
get it using 'Save and Import', although you can if you use
the
Connection file. Presumably the Connection file doesn't use
Medline
format to capture fields.
