How to Quickly Insert En Dashes (APA Style) within a Reference

Hi~

I would appreciate some help and advice on the best and
quickest method
for inserting "en dashes" within APA-style
references while working
within the EndNote program? [Note: An "en dash"
is slightly longer than
a hyphen and is used to indicate a range of pages (i.e.,
54-56) for
journal articles or book sections.]

I've tried: 1) copying and pasting the en dash from an MS
word doc into
the EndNote reference; and 2) copying the en dash symbol
from the
Windows' System Tools Character Map. The manual mentioned
using Term
Lists but I couldn't figure out how it works for special
characters like
the en dash. The first two methods work but is there a way
where I can
insert the en dash while staying within the EndNote program
so entering
page numbers would be quicker and easier?

Thanks for the help.

Chick
