Very simple Karen.
Just click on the remove field codes from the Endnote
toolbar in the
Word Document. Be sure that you save it as a new document
when it
prompts.

Subject: How to take out the Endnote codes for publication
I plan to submit a paper in which I used Endnote to create
references to
a journal. I was told I need to take out the Endnote codes
before I
submit it the journal because it may cause publication
problems. Is
that true? Also, my co-writer doesn't have Endnote and wants
to be able
to edit the references.
So how do I "disconnect" my paper from Endnote so
any changes that my
co-writer incorporates will stay and when we send to the
journal, all
the Endnote codes will be eliminated but my references would
remain
intact.
I look forward to suggestions. I am currently using Endnote
7 but will
soon have the latest version of Endnote.
