Re: eliminating same author

The problem with changing the citation separator is that the
comma then
may appear a semicolon is required. For example, APA style
requires both

(Knowles, 1950, 1970)

and

(Knowles, 1950, 1970; Johnson, 1991a, 1991b)

where a semicolon is required to separate citations of
different
authors. If you change the citation separator to comma you
will get

(Knowles, 1950, 1970, Johnson, 1991a, 1991b)

possibly contrary to the specifications of the style. I sent
Karen a
method of changing some of the semicolons to commas but it
only copes
with Karen's original request. Fixing things like my
citation of two
authors with two references each would be very complex.

EN could do it - a suggestion for a future release.
