Hello Kathryn:  I think there's some confusion here: my
response related to the
availability of an import filter for AMED, requested by
Morag Coulter at the University of
York.  I'm afraid that I'm not able to help with your
query re italics.

I followed the link but didn't see what it had to do
with my question about capitalizing all occurrences of
a species name (without having to edit each
reference).

Did you mean that if I had EndNote 8 it would
automatically import the italics instead of stripping
them like EndNote 7 does?
