No.
What you can do instead is create parallel reference types
(in the "Unused"
types) in which you will store only Japanese references
(give them slightly
different names: Japanese Journal Article, Japanese Book,
etc.), and store
only English references in the pre-defined types. Then, you
can edit the
output style to handle these different reference types
differently.
Downside of this solution is that it's not transferable
between computers...
or at least, you have to edit the reference types on each
computer you use.

Subject: Template conditioning
Dear everyone.
My Endnote version is ver.8, English edition.
I'm preparing the manuscripts for a Japanese journal. The
journal's format
of refference list has a special feature. For example, for
the refference in
English?it uses ordinary template.
3) M. Roulin, J. W. Luster, G. Karadenz and A. Mortensen:
"Strength and
structure of furnace-brazed joints between aluminum and
stainless steel,"
Welding Journal (Miami, Fla), 78, 5 (1999) pp. 151s-155s
But for the refference in Japanese, it requires a little bit
different
template. Author's name should be in full name and the
article title shoud
be braced by "[" and "]",
4) <full name in JPN>: [ article title ], journal,
vol, issue (year) pages
Is there any way to change template by some condition, say
laguage?
