Okay, this is one of those features that I missed for a
while.

Since at least Endnote 6, If you chose from the Endnote menu
--- Edit>
Output Styles>open style manager and in the menu box,
select "Style
preview" from the drop down menu (make sure "more
Info" has been
selected, so the preview window is visible) you can
scroll/click on
individual endnote styles looking for one that closely
matches your
requirements. Some sample references will be displayed
formated
according to the style highlighted. It is pretty easy, and
if you sort
by category, you might find that journal styles from your
field might be
the closest match. Then you can select the closest style
and edit it
and save it to a new name to make any minor changes you deem
to be
necessary.

I wonder if there is there a page/site that features a
sample bib entry
that's formatted in the various default styles that come
with EndNote.
If you know of such a resource, please let me know.
