Don't ask me why, but I find myself having to write a single
manuscript
in two locations, home and office. I have the web connected
in both
locations, and Word and Endnote installed. I have been
moving documents
and EndNote libraries back and forth on a thumbdrive, but
today it
occurred to me that I could use Endnote Web to synchronize
home and
office libraries. The function connecting X and Web,
however, is
described a bit ambiguously as 'transferring.' Can this
'transferring'
function support true synchronization: i.e., adding,
deleting, or
changing a reference on one computer synchronizing with the
other?
I'd like to avoid moving entirely to the Web platform, which
is the
obvious solution, because I'm worried it might be slow and
clunky.
