  Maybe you can't connect via endnote x to PubMed by an an
authenticating proxy,an anonymous proxy is ok.

Thanks for your replies. I'm using a pc and use an
authenticating proxy
to connect to the internet. It just seems to be a problem
with EndNote
X. My other colleagues who are using EndNote 7 can connect
to PubMed.
