When you say "All your endnote references", you
probably mean all your
various libraries?  If so, I agree with you, with the
following caveat: 
if endnote makes it feasible to keep all references within
one library
via a good grouping functionality, a search-across-libraries
feature
might become less useful.  From a conversation I had with an
Endnote
rep, it sounds like they're going to be concentrating on
making a
single-library interface work, and back-burner any features
which
support multiple-libraries.
