In Endnote X (and 7) PDF attachments were thru the
"figure" attachment.
they were one and the same. Now the newer PDF attachment
option in X
and X1, provide additional versatility (like having the
ability to
attach multiple PDFs). But I never bothered altering the
older
attachments. No big deal. You also don't have to attach
PDFs in this
new option! You can even attach figures. Just name the
field in the
preferences, Reference Types to reflect what you have there,
if it
bothers you to have them called "figures" - like
"original PDF"

Just upgraded to Endnote XI from 9. On opening my old
Endnote 9 library
I find that all the PDF images attached to the records in my
library
have been converted to Attached Figures rather than Attached
Files. Any
idea what I have done wrong here? or how I convert them to
Attached
Files. Have I missed something basic?
