Thanks for everyone's suggestions! What I didn't realise
was that I could edit a field for a set of references
automatically through the 'Change and move fields'
command. I was able to show the 700 odd references I have
that do have an attached fulltext document and edit the
label field to indicate this in one command. I could do that
move periodically to keep it up to date instead of typing it
into the label field each time I add something to the
database. This has pretty much solved my problem, so thanks
again
Colour coding would still be nice, as would the function to
show more than 5 display fields (I'd like 6). I will send
these as suggestions to Thomson.
I was also wondering as a separate thought - has anyone here
used CiteULike? see http://www.citeulike.org/
a> - it looks like an interesting and potentially useful
tool.
cheers
