aalib gstreamer

hi,

is there any possibiliy to use aalib not just as sink in
gstreamer, but
also as filer (?) or sumthin similar?

you mean filter? not that i would know. you'd need to have
text-rendering after the video-to-text conversion, which,
AFAIK, aalib
doesnt provide.

i think there are solutions around that do this. i just
cannot remember
what were they called..

are ASCII aesthetics still so hip?
