I can't check this out at the moment as I'm re-calibrating
my BN but I've 
noticed tis, too and think it may well be the difference
between speech and 
Braille!  Certainly, from memory, the symptoms Alex
describes apply to 
Braille and, in fact, appear in other circumstances, too. 
For example, at 
the end of an address search, a blank line is displayed
rather than the 
prompt for setting the address as virtual, POI or
destination.  In order to 
get the message, you need to press the advance key.
