Jim,
The reason the GPS is continually recalculating
even though it appears you are still on the route that it created is by design.
There are two options for off-route recalculation, by default it is
switched to automatic. If you want to change this option, then from the GPS
menu, you will hit o for the GPS option, then space down until you get to
off-route recalculation, hit enter, then you can either switch between manual or
automatic, just press the initial letter for the option you so desire. Then once
you are satisfied with your option you can either hit chord e on a BT
keyboard or the escape key on a QT. You can access the GPS option when you
are either at the GPS menu or even when you are in route following mode. It
isn't required for you to be stationary to create a route, it can be done while
you are moving or stationary. If you do find that you are veering off-route and
wish to recalculate, you can hit backsace dot 3 on a BT or the slash or
backslash on a QT.

Subject: [gps-talkusers] BrailleNote GPS
Question.
Hi Folks:
When creating a vehicle rout,
my BrailleNote GPS continually re-calculates the tout even though I am on a
straight road.
I should mention that I created the rout while
the car was moving. Would that be the cause of the problem?
