Sorry, one more thing. You can include some license text in
your
script to make your intentions clear.
I personally wouldn't build off a userscript (or other
code) that
wasn't clearly licensed. In a small community like this,
it's
generally all good, but implied copyright and the stupidity
of the
U.S. legal system make it not worth the hassle.
(Of course, I figger $() and similar functions are
public-domain-y.
Too bad software copyrights don't have to clear
patent-esque hurdles
like novelty and usefulness.)
