In Global Security Settings panel, I have included direct path to

c:haxeVideo-Beta2videostest.flv

note .. not video.swf .. but test.flv file

and still video.html cannot connect on launching in browser ..

also tried adding c:        to trusted list .. and rebooted for good measure.

Not my lucky day.   What diagnostics to apply?

You need to add SWF, flv is not readed by the player since
it's streamed
by the server.

Adding c: should work... Maybe your firewall is preventing
the port
from actually being opened by the server ?
