I have eDirectory running on Netware 6.5 and Linux, I have a
number of
other systems referencing the eDir tree via LDAP.
I need to find an LDAP attribute that contains the object
name (or logon
ID) for each user object in the LDAP tree.
CN would normally have fulfilled this objective however I
have noticed that
if 'othername' field in eDirectory is populated then CN in
the LDAP tree is
muli-valued and contains both the object name and the vaule
for
'othername'. Is there any other attribute I can use that
will pass me back
the object name or logon ID? I have tried 'UniqueID' but
this does not
contain the correct data either.
Any advice/assistance on this would be greatly appreciated.
