News Release
The MIT Press provides digital backfiles for three science
&
technology titles
December 13, 2007
The MIT Press is creating a complete digital archive, back
to the
first issue, for three of its science and technology
journals.
Content published since 1989 and not previously available in
electronic format will now be accessible at no extra cost to
subscribers of Evolutionary Computation and Journal of
Cognitive
Neuroscience in mid-December 2007, and to subscribers of
Neural
Computation in January 2008.
Each issue not yet in digital format will be scanned from
cover
to cover, and will be made available in PDF and PDF-plus
versions
on the MIT Press Journals website, http://mitpressjournals.
org.
As with current issues of each journal, graphics and images
will
be reproduced electronically as they originally appeared in
the
printed issues.
The effort to make print articles accessible electronically
is
part of an ongoing focus at MIT Press Journals to make
cutting-edge research widely available to researchers,
practitioners, students and interested readers in the fields
these journals serve.
