Thread: Regulating Google

Regulating Google

By a happy coincidence, the next message in my mailbox after
Jo
Esposito's booby-trap comment about regulating Google as a
public
utility was the following message about the expansion of
Google
Health into the storage of individual health records.

One useful by-product of people's being able to put their
health
records on Google's servers is that it would flag up a
proportion
of those who are truly bonkers.

Subject: Google starts program to store health records

Google is now getting into the business or storing personal

health records. They are starting with a pilot program at
the
Cleveland Clinic. http:/
